Dr. Brittany Rich, DMD graduated dental school in 2015. She then completed a general practice residency in 2016 where she focused on advance dental surgery, implant placement, advanced cosmetic procedures, and full mouth rehabilitation. She is truly passionate about the art of dentistry and often refers to practicing as her “happy place.” She enjoys treating children with care, all as her equal, and the matured population with grace and compassion. She seeks to provide all with a more serene and spa-like dental experience by changing the face and reputation of the dental industry.
Dr. Rich enjoys expanding her Spanish-speaking skills to offer the direct communication that all her patients deserve and she even knows some American Sign Language which she is happy to break out any time she can offer care to the hearing impaired. Dr. Rich would love nothing more than to join you on this journey of life as your family dentist!
Erika Hernandez
Dental Assistant
With 18 years of experience as a dental assistant, I’m passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. Originally from California, I recently moved to Alabama and I’m excited to be part of this welcoming community.
As a mom of two, I understand the importance of family and bring that same care and attention into the office every day. Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, listening to music, and spending quality time with loved ones. I look forward to getting to know our patients and making every visit a positive experience!
Martina Penter
As the Concierge Specialist, I’m here to ensure every patient feels welcomed, cared for and confident in their experience with us. I’m passionate about creating a smooth, friendly environment where our patients feel like family.
I’ve been happily married for 19 years and am the proud mom of two wonderful kids. I’m an extrovert at heart and I love connecting with people and making genuine connections every day.
Outside the office, you can usually find me curled up with a good book or spending time with my friends or family.

Ally Madinger
Office Manager
Ally brings years of management experience and a passion for creating a welcoming, efficient environment for both our patients and our team. Her job is providing excellent care and communication from the first phone call to the final check-out, and she’s always there to help make your visit as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside the office, Ally is a proud mom of 3 girls and has been married for 19 years. She enjoys being active in our community. She’s served many years on the PTO board for her children’s schools and she currently serves on a board for local youth sports programs. Ally looks forward to helping you and your family feel right at home at Knox Square Dental!
